Hi, I’m Sam. I’ve worked with Filipino virtual assistants for years — amazing people who helped me grow businesses, stay sane, and keep things running.
Then one day, in a casual chat, one of my longtime VAs told me something that stopped me in my tracks:
“I actually have a master’s degree in psychology. I’m licensed here in the Philippines.”
I was floored.
I asked her why someone with that kind of background was working as a general VA — and her answer has stayed with me ever since:
“There just aren’t enough good-paying opportunities here. So a lot of us end up in work that has nothing to do with our training.”
That conversation lit a spark.
Because at the same time, I was hearing from U.S. mental health professionals who were overwhelmed — not by client care, but by everything outside of it. Notes. Intake. Admin. Burnout.
That’s how Tradewinds came to life.
We’re not just matching resumes to job descriptions. We’re building bridges between two sides of the world — between therapists who need breathing room, and qualified, compassionate professionals who’ve been overlooked in their own country.
This isn’t outsourcing. This is human-to-human support, built on trust, training, and a shared commitment to care.
And truthfully — we’re just getting started.
We’re not a big agency.
We don’t have some shiny promise to automate your life.
What we do have is a team of smart, thoughtful people trying to build something better — one real match at a time.
We’re still learning, improving, and listening every day.
We’re putting people first — on both ends of the partnership.
We care deeply about fit, integrity, and giving mental health professionals a chance to breathe again.
